Try the local products in one of the wine cellars in the area: guided tours and wine tasting with small buffet included.
» Cooking course
Discover the secrets of the Tuscan cooking in an ancient castle. The cooking lesson lasts for about 2 hours and a half and is held directly in the kitchen where the guests, guided by the chef, will learn how to prepare a typical Tuscan lunch. Guided tour at the castle and lunch included. The course is available weekdays from 10.00 to 14.00.
» Grape Harvest
In the month of September and October you’ll have the opportunity to take part in a real “vendemmia”. There is no specific date for the start of the Vendemmia - it depends on the climate and varies from province to province, but generally it starts in the middle of September. The participants will be equipped with clippers and they’ll join the grape pickers of the winery. Wine tasting and guided visit at the cellar included.
» Horse riding

» Golf
Castelfalfi Golf Club open from 9 am to 7 pm (Tuesdays closed). You can rent all the necessary equipment. Characteristics of the course:18 holes and the length is 6.645 m. The par is 73. It includes the driving range, pitching green, putting green and bunkers. Available structures: 18 holes and 73 par - driving range - putting green - pitching green - trolleys and Golf carts to hire - Bar - Restaurant Guest-room - Dressing rooms.
» Hot Air Ballon
See Chianti from above! The Aerostatica Club of Florence will guide you above the landscape. Start at early dawn in Tavarnelle ( 14 km from Villa Belsole) with a flight of circa 1 hour. At landing you’ll have breakfast with champagne and local products, then a car will take you back to the start point. The excursion takes about 3 and a 1/2 hours. Minimum request: 2 persons, Max. 12 persons.) (Take off is naturally depending on the weather conditions.)
» Excursions on quad
Guided excursions on quad in the surroundings. Minimum request: 3 quads (3-6 persons).
» Tennis
Tennis courts at Certaldo, Castelfiorentino and Montespertoli.
» Guided Tours
Villa Belsole is located near important villages as San Gimignano, Volterra, Montespertoli and Certaldo. Combine your wine tour with a historical tour among medieval churches, Abbeys and Castles in the area of Chianti Classico.
» Hiking/Jogging
Reach Certaldo Alto by feet across the naturalistic park of La Canonica . A signed path leads you up on the hillocks of Certaldo and it has a lot of stops for physical exercises and areas equipped for picnics. It’s a very nice walk among olive groves, cypresses and vineyards. The view from here is spectacular!
